Nearly there...
We're coming up to the final stages of completion and the documentary is looking good.
Looking back from the first production post, we've come a long way. The clips that I had edited were too long to fit the style of a radio 1 xtra documentary, so I cut the clips down and edited bits of information that didn't add much relevance to the story I wanted to convey. Plus, having smaller clips breaks up the story so there is more of a structure and allows me (the presenter) to guide you (the audience) with better links and pauses throughout the piece.
The Script
We've got a script ready, hoorah! It's taken a few months to fully finish the script due to changes of where I wanted the interviews to go in the documentary. Researching into mental health has also been a long process and I wanted to make sure the listener is fully informed from the documentary so stats are key to the cue and beginning of the piece.
All that is left now is to record the voiceovers, and edit them so that the documentary can finally be completed. For more up dates, follow the social media links:
